From my own experience and all of the above unblocking  services/ programs have their own shortcomings and advantages and for unknown reasons  that I still can not still figure out different environments need different methods in order to be able to connect to the internet and use applications  without restrictions . To get around this we need a third party application that act as a “proxy converter” that changes a HTTP proxy into SOCK proxy. In this tutorial we will be using Polipoto the the job. This guide also applies when you’re using SSH tunneling software such as Putty or Tunnelier , Privoxy will change local SOCK server into local HTTP server.
