Need to bypass internet censorship ? well, it can be done in different ways, one such technique to do it is using tunneling software such as Gpass.  GPass is a highly sophisticated software that can encrypt while you’re online , hide your IP address, and bypass internet censorship  and webblocker and employing a number of secure channels to connect to the Internet and bypass  censorship . GPass is compatible with most applications such as browsers , multimedia players, email, instant messengers, download managers, many more.  The software is free for individual use within designated countries where Internet censorship is place. This application is developed by mostly Falun Gong followers, a banned spiritual sect in China to promote internet freedom for those restricted by government internet censorship.

Except for the Socks Direct channel, GPass adds encryption and compression to the network traffic to protect your privacy and speed up your online transactions.

GPass is a portable application  and does not need installation. It runs in Windows 2000, XP, and Vista. Simply store GPass.exe in a folder, a flash drive, or a CDROM and double click the icon to start it

Bypassing Internet censorship with Gpass, step-by-step

1. Download Gpass here : it’s a stand alone software so no installation needed, you can put the file on your desktop for practical use

2. Click on the Gpass Icon, wait until you’re connected to Gpass servers, and click the browsers or applications you wish to use (Figure 1 , Gpass User Interface) .  Gpass will automatically configure browsers and applications to connect to Gpass servers so you don’t need to configure them manually. In case you need to so, set the applications or browser to use the following proxy and port : Proxy: 127.0.0.1 port:8000

Note :  If your computer is sitting behind Local Area Network proxy , you need first to configure Gpass to use proxy server as shown in Figure 3, also configure your local Windows firewall / other firewalls installed on your computer to let Gpass client connect to the remote Gpass servers or simply disable it (not recommended)
