The unblocking sites software Your Freedom utilizes proxy tunneling and allows any blocked software such as  Peer-to-Peer software, Torrents applications  to access the Internet  via your freedom servers scattered around the word. Nearly all applications work with Your Freedom, and so far noone has managed to block your freedom service completely and permanently without blocking Internet access entirely.

The software is compatible with Windows, Linux and Mac OS and connects you to a network of about 24 servers across in the US, Switzerland, UK, Germany , Singapore, Hong Kong and France . Your Freedom also offers advanced services like OpenVPN and Socks, which makes it a relatively sophisticated tool to bypass Internet censorship

A rudimentary service is available for free with speed of up tp 64 kbps. It will provide a bit more bandwidth than a modem connection and up to six hours of usage per day (up to 18 hours per week), and will probably be enough for all casual users.  If you want a faster connection you may purchase your freedom voucher at not-too-expensive rates.

  • Fill in the account and password you register with your freedom

Configure your browser and application to use your freedom server s automatically clicking  on the “Application” tab in the main Your-Freedom window, select which application you want to use and then click OK. Or you can manually configure your browser and application by filling in “proxy settings”  with the following proxies : 127.0.0.0 port 8080 (http proxy) or 127.0.0.0 port 1080 if you would like to use SOCKS proxy. Done. You’ll now be able to unblock blocked sites and applications :)

Bypass Firewall and Internet Filters With Freegate

Published on March 5th, 2010no comments

FreeGate is an anti-censorship software to bypass firewall and bypass internet filters that was developed and maintained by Dynamic Internet Technology Inc. (DIT: www.dit-inc.us),

DIT was initially established in 2001 to provide email delivery services to China for U.S. government agencies and NGOs. In 2002, DIT began to provide anti-censorship services under the framework of DynaWeb.  Today DynaWeb offers the widest range of options for users to access Internet freely, and supports more than 50 million web hits per day on average from Chinese users alone.

FreeGate works by tapping into an anti-censorship backbone, DynaWeb, DIT’s P2P-like proxy network system.
DynaWeb is a collection of anti-censorship services provided by Dynamic Internet Technology Inc. (DIT).  Once users point their web browser at one of the DynaWeb URLs, a web page will be presented similar to the one at us.dongtaiwang.com, with most blocked websites as links.  But since the Chinese net police keep an eye on DynaWeb’s portal websites closely and block them as soon as they identify them, DynaWeb is  very dynamic. It has hundreds of mirror sites at anytime, and each with a varying IP and DNS domain name, to defeat IP blocking and DNS hijacking. On the backstage, DynaWeb also has mechanisms to proactively monitor the blocking status of each of its mirror sites, and as soon as blocking is detected, it will change the IP and DNS domain name instantly.

Use Freegate To Bypass Firewall and  Internet Filters

Freegate is a ready to use piece of software only approximately 386 Kilo bytes in size , you don’t have to install it on your computer . It can be downloaded  here

Bypass Internet Filters and Hide IP Address With Gtunnel

Published on February 28th, 2010one comment

GTunnel is a  Windows-based  application to bypass internet filters and hide IP address and protect  internet privacy. Initially it served individuals who wished to protect their online privacy and bypass internet censorship in all countries yet  for some reasons their free service is currently only intended to China’s users. Others can  however use Gtunnel by subscribing to the paid service.  This application acts as a local HTTP or SOCKS proxy server. And after configuring internet browsers and application to use GTunnel local HTTP or  SOCKS servers , the traffic will be directed to  Gtunnel  server farm before it arrives at its initial  destination.

User’s IP address is hidden and the destination servers will only  see GTunnel server addresses instead. Internet Traffic is encrypted with industry-strength algorithms so the local filtering/censorship systems will not see the content in clear-text format.

GTunnel Major Features include:

  • Automatic configuration of both global and  proxy setting in Internet Explorer
  • Support multiple transport modes to provide high service availability and flexibility in different network environment. It currently support three different modes of anonymity, namely, Standard, Skype Mode and Tor Mode. In the normal mode, GTunnel will connect to servers of Gtunnel server farm directly. In Skype Mode, GTunnel will try to connect via the P2P (Peer To Peer) network of Skype. In Tor mode, GTunnel connects through Tor nodes and adds security to Tor users. In GTunnel Tor mode, even the Tor exit node owners do not see the original traffic. See Figure 1 bellow (Image source: http://gardennetworks.org/products)
  • 128 bit industry strength data encryption with highly randomized traffic pattern
